Meet the Author

Kev Reynolds, author of this guide, is a freelance writer, photojournalist and lecturer. A prolific compiler of guidebooks, his first title for Cicerone (Walks & Climbs in the Pyrenees) appeared in 1978; he has since produced 27 titles for the same publisher, with others currently being researched. He is a member of the Outdoor Writers' Guild and the Alpine Club.

    Medicine Den

    Next the Elders grassy den is a small hole in the ground, only big enough to let a cat through. The hole must have been a rabbit's, but was dug by Echoclans warriors to be a medicine den. Crawling inside is a small cave-like room only a few tail lengths to either side. Moss is piled in one corner, that is were the Medicine cat would sleep. Next to it is a shelf of rock, a perfect place for herbs...
