Going to Glacier? This Guide will help you plan

I like the format of dividing the book into chapters for each kind of activity one might pursue at Glacier and then listing the author's favorite for each. For someone who has never been there before, this is a great place to start to plan one's activities.

I came across this book looking for a photographer's guide to the GNP. Let me tell you, this book certainly isn't one and in general, there doesn't exist one.
I'd purchased the Kindle edition to supplement the "Moon Glacier National Park", that by the way, I highly recommend as a general guide book. I found the information in this book essentially an anthology of what's freely available on the internet and at times, simply ridiculous. I returned it as soon as I saw that it lists one of the best places to photograph is by the park sign. Even though the GNP is a tourist hot spot and many people do take pictures of themselves by a park sign, that certainly doesn't make it a "not-to-miss" photo op by any stretch of imagination, and is an insult to us photographers who work 5 AM - 9 PM trying to make compelling images.
IMHO, there isn't anything in this book that you'll not find in the moon book, may be just not in a tabular format.
