    Great Bossa Nova from Sergio Mendes!

    I've loved Sergio Mendes since he was on the radio, back in the 60s. This was the band he had right before he put together his very successful "Brasil '66" lineup. The incredible Wanda Sah, who was one of the two singers in Brasil '66, sings on some tracks. This is a touch less poppy and more jazzy than the '66 lineup, but I love it every bit as much. Mendes has an unequaled touch. If you like 60s Bossa Nova, this is THE band that led the pack.
