Overview

Here's a misleading but serviceable anthology from the UMG-distributed Thump label. On a pedantic level, the name of the band is Bar-Kays, not the Bar Kays. More problematic is that the release consists of material released during the band's late-'70s and early-'80s period on the Mercury label, while the front and back sleeve photos, which originate from the '60s/'70s Volt era, indicate otherwise.
