Overview

Two top chefs and a seasoned food writer face off in this outstanding collection of recipes—and you pick the winner.

What happens when two top restaurant chefs and one experienced food writer pit their wits against each other to create the best recipe? Find out for yourself in this collection of 60 dishes created by award–winning British chef Paul Merrett, food writer Silvana Franco, and globe–trotting Australian chef Ben O’Donoghue. In The Best—based on the BBC TV show, airing here on the Discovery Home & Leisure Channel—you can choose among the three contending recipes; for example: Silvana’s Tuna and Horseradish Burger, Paul’s Rare Peppered Tuna, or Ben’s Braised Tuna Salad. Or you may be tempted to try all three when presented with the sweet dilemma of Paul’s Classic Chocolate Fondant, Ben’s White Chocolate Pannacotta, or Silvana’s Speedy Cardamom Chocolate Sauce. Filled with expert advice, this cookbook lets you be the judge of which recipes really are The Best (hint: they’re all winners).

    Absolutely Fantastic

This cookbook is fantastic for so many reasons and the main being Paul Merrett's Chocolate Fondant recipe which is a winner. No matter what kitchen skills you have these recipes are tried and tested and do actually work. They are also absolutely scrumptious and will impress even the hardest of critics at a dinner party
