Sick of the same ol' shots? Raise the bar!

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"Bohrer's compendium of recipes and alcoholic asides is a good read. The Best Shots You've Never Tried: 100+ Intoxicating Oddities You'll Actually Want to Put Down runs the gamut from single-slam versions of classic cocktails to a chapter entitled 'Shots of Last Resort,' that's geared towards readers with a sense of adventure." --Seattle Met

"Seattle mixologist Andrew Bohrer's The Best Shots You've Never Tried throws down a gauntlet of exotic, themed, and Uh, what? alcohol-laden recipes sure to thrill and boggle even the most versed connoisseurs of the shooter." --Dude, I Want That Blog

"These shots are ideal for when you want a quick taste, for when you want to send a little special drink to that little special someone....The trend of better shots has really been kicked off by the new book The Best Shots You've Never Tried, by Andrew Bohrer." --A.J. Rathbun, Spiked Punch blog

"The Best Shots You've Never Tried...uses fresh ingredients throughout and offers a section called 'Shots of Last Resort' that can be made from combinations of strange ingredients you have around the house. Shots don't need to be small drinks that we consume in large quantities, but can be small, singular bursts of flavor that we use to mark moments. Let's think on that." --Finecooking.com

"Masterfully assembled, this collection...is well laid out and easy to follow, a great book for beginners. We made many drinks from this book and all were winners. Andrew Bohrer not only elevates the shot to the next level, he captures some of the best cocktail recipes out there, big or small." --DrinkSpirits.com

"Bored of ordering the same lame shots every time you're out and looking to ingest lots of alcohol in a single gulp? This book provides the key to killing this rut. My favorites are the miniature classics, where the author took Manhattans, Pisco Sours, and Vesper cocktails and proportioned them into mini-shots instead of full cocktails." --Austin 360 blog
