This is the Word of God on a simple handheld Nook. The King James Bible is the Authoritative translation of the Bible and this version makes navigation simple and the table of contents is very user friendly.

This is a very nice King James Version of the Bible. The text is complete and unabridged, and it is nicely formatted.

There seems to be several anonymous negative reviews for this title. When I looked at other Nook bibles I saw the same ones as well on most of them except for one of them. Could it be that a publisher is defaming other Bible publishers to promote his own? That is a very unChristian thing to do, and I suggest that you pray for that person, as that is probably one of the worst sins I can think of for a Bible publisher.

The story behind the KJV is fascination. The KJV is the English translation by the Church of England of the Christian Bible begun in 1604 and completed in 1611.In January 1604, King James I of England convened the Hampton Court Conference where a new English version was conceived in response to the perceived problems of the earlier translations as detected by the Puritans, a faction within the Church of England.

This is the same King James Version as the one used at my church. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost, high quality Bible.

This is the perfect Bible for the Nook, it loads very quickly and is easy to navigate. You can navigate through the Nook table of contents or from the built in Table of Contents chapter which makes it all very easy.

I did not believe how cheap this Bible was. While many books on the Nook store are $5.99 or $9.99, this one was indeed $0.99. Not a misprint! This works very well on my Nook and I am very pleased with my purchase and I will be recommending to my congregation.

All I can say is that this world is really an odd place. You can spend $3.99 for a cup of coffee at Starbucks that will give you 5 minutes of temporary satisfaction. But for $0.99 you can get eternal life! Which one would you choose.
This is a wonderful Bible for the Nook. I think because it is the King James version, it is the most official translation. In any case, I really like the Lord's prayer which I have bookmarked for reading every day.
