Immortalizing them for the jazz cannon, Armstrong almost single-handedly made standards out of "Star Dust," "I Surrender, Dear," "Memories of You," "Exactly Like You," and many others. Blessed with John R.T. Davies' top-drawer transfers, this Armstrong collection stands as one of the cornerstones of American popular culture.
