### Overview

There are many people who don’t like to do word problems. However, they are extremely important to be able to solve. The hardest thing about word problems is to understand them. Once that’s done, it’s just a matter of setting up the problem and solving it. The BIG Book of Decimals – Word Problems provides tips and tricks to aid in solving word problems in general, in addition to 208 different decimals word problems to solve. Many of the problems in this book propose real-life problems. An answer key is provided to check every answer. This answer key shows what operation should be used to solve the problem, the actual answer, and in some instances, the proper way to set up the problem to assist in solving. In order to be successful in solving these problems, it is recommended that the solver of these word problems has a working knowledge of decimal operations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division).
