About the Author

Saturi Scriptor is a grump of an author with more ideas than could possibly be written in the average lifetime. However, Saturi still gives it his best effort. With a stack of keyboards in the closet, Saturi is prepared to keep the midnight candles burning no matter how many rejections he receives.

This book came about because after receiving more than 100 rejection letters, Saturi wondered if any of them should be taken seriously. Was the information contained within the brief notes of any value? Was the agent reading the query letter? Saturi wanted to know, but he could not find any comprehensive lists of rejection letters available online. Most websites had summarized the correspondence down to just a few words. Saturi wanted the entire letter in order to do a complete comparison. Since he couldn’t find it, he wrote this book so that you can answer those questions definitively without performing hours of Internet research.

In his spare time, Saturi complains about the weather and his aching knee from that freak leaf accident 35 years ago. He also enjoys yelling at people to get off his lawn, waving his cane and brandishing his umbrella on bright sunny days.
