Overview

What would you do if someone told you that there was a better way to clean and organize your home and still have time for all the things in your life that you actually enjoy? Well, there is and it's called The Big Clean and now this classic organization and housecleaning manual has been revised and updated.

Due to a complete lack of time, Kim Rinehart, author of Goodbye, Fatty! Hello, Skinny! How I Lost Weight And Still Ate The Foods I Loved-Without Dieting, through trial and error developed a system to clean and organize better and more efficiently. In her book, The Big Clean: How to Clean and Organize Your Home and Free Your Mind, she shows you exactly how it works. The great thing is that once it has been performed, it will allow you to go for extended periods of time without worrying about housework. In fact, you will generally only have to put in thirty minutes or less a week to keep your home clean and organized. This book not only contains tips that will help you save time but also money.

It's easier than you think to stop wasting time and start enjoying life. The Big Clean: How to Clean and Organize Your Home and Free Your Mind will show you how.

I really liked this book. It is filled with good tips on getting your house clean and organized. It has several things that gave me "ah ha!" moments. I really also liked the tips on saving money scattered throughout the book. I haven't read many of these type books on this subject, but this one is one of the best.

I was very disappointed with this book. There was next to nothing in the way of advice, that I already knew. For example, I don't need to be told how to organise a wardrobe by firstly throwing all the contents onto the bed. Neither do I need to be informed how to told how to clean out a purse by emptying it onto a table surface. The book was written in a childish and patronising way, chock-full of silly quotes, such as "Yeah, right", "Whoo-Hoo!", "Itty-Bitty", "Take a nap", "Chi-Ching!" and "All done!", to name a few. Sorry, but this book was a waste of money. "BIG CLEAN" = "BIG DISAPPOINTMENT".

I found nothing new or insightful here. I did not learn anything from her except how much I dislike reading incorrect grammar.

In this book, the author really tells a person how to get all that junk out of their homes, get it clean once and for all and move on with their lives. I found many useful tips that I can put into practice.

I was looking forward to reading a book that would address the Psychology of clutter, and how to be set free from it. Instead, this book's main focus was how to clean.
