This is a wonderful sampling of the indigenous music of this unique city. My faves on this CD are Terrence and The Wild Tchopitoulas. One man's opinion. The fact is that in order to do justice to the music from there would take ten CD's but for those that haven't been exposed to Cajun and Zydeco music it's a great way to hear some of the best. New Orleans is home to many wonderful musicians with many different styles from Dr. John to Harry Connick to Al Hirt to Louis Armstrong to The Preservation Hall Jazz Band to the Indian bands to Ellis and Wynton and Brandford ....somebody stop me!
