    I like it

I read all the other parts and i meant to commrnt but like willowsong said, just capitalise 'Fawn', not 'kit' or 'step'. :D i have been meaning to start my own story but first i am looking at other ones. I just can not think of a character to write about! Go to 'the tigers wife' first result and read what will become a story.

    FawnStep's Tale/ Cptr 4

(Hmm, interesting reviews. Ill try to put some more detail in the background stories. You are lucky i had 2 cups of coffee before bed. Illl try to get 4 chapters in tonight.) I stepped away from the charred remains of my loved ones. My shoulders drooped in regret. A gentle breeze carried the musky scent of rain, reminding me of how cruel nature is. Thunder crackled in the sky, startling me. A faint whisper blew on the breeze. Unable to hear any distinct words, i tilted my ears toward the woods. ".b...e.." The whisper spoke. "Beware." I gasped. My paws skidded in the mud as i darted toward the woods. "Beware what!?" I screeched. "Beware. Silvery streams can look beautiful, but when a storm approaches, they will overflow." My forehead furrowed. What streams? Is it talking about this storm? I sighed, thinking deeply about this message from StarClan. "Uh, are you okay?" Storm meowed. I jumped back, startled by his quiet approach. "Yeah. Im fine." I growled. "So, anyway, what is your name?" He shuffled his paws uneasily. "FawnKit." I respond. His eyes widen, "FawnKIT? You look more like a warrior." I frowned, glancing at a puddle that had now formed from the rain. My light brown pelt was sleek and smooth, the white spots losing their fluffy fur. My bright blue eyes stared right back at me, seeming to bore into my soul. "Huh, i guess i do seem like one. I wonder what my name would have been." He smiled. "What about...Fawn..Step?" He questioned. I bounced up and down. "Thats a great name!" My throat rumbled with a purr. A rush of rain caught us off guard. "We should look for shelter, our den will be out of reach in this weather." I nodded and we dashed off in search of shelter. A sodden tree trunk was the only thing we could find. Its bark was twisted and mangled, smelling of decay. As i laid down Storm stared at me warmly. I closed my eyes and wrapped my tail around my nose. After a couple minutes i felt a damp pelt press against my back. I sighed and leaned closer to his warmth. My eyes closed slowly and i drifted off into a dreamless sleep. At the crack of dawn we both rose and stepped out of the den. We always had a routine. We would wake up, go hunting, bring food for SilverMist, climb trees, and go back to our tree-den. The routine continued for a couple moons before i noticed something was wrong. My stomach felt heavy, weighing me down when i tried to run. I also started to gain weight, my belly bloating. Little kicks would wake me up every so often. Maybe this is how OwlWillow wanted it. Maybe i didnt belong with him. But that doesnt matter. I was FawnKit then. My name is now FawnStep. This is a new beginning..
