Scott Cunningham is a vampire just trying to make a living. After all, being undead isn't cheap. There's rent to pay, blood to buy, and child support due; it's an eternal treadmill. You would think it would be terribly boring, but as Scott is finding out, unlife as a lawyer in rural Tennessee is anything but.

I originally got this book because of the title. I live in Tennessee and have had to hire a few of those blood sucking attorneys. This book is truly awesome! I loved every minute of it and can not wait for more!!

Great read, l've already gotten the next book in the series. It's interesting to see our streotyping and prejudices, in both the law and society as a whole, played out on the commmunty of vampires who had no choice in becoming what they were. It reiterates that, as always, our actions and their consequences come from fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of those that are not like "us". The characters are engaging and flawed enough to make this story seem realistic. The scenarios will have you coming back to find out what happens next. Kudos to the author, keep up the great work!

I really enjoyed both the charachters and the storyline. I hope these continue. I am looking forward to seeing the charachters develop and perhaps some court drama over vampire rights.
