Without giving away anything, this book reminds me of a cross between Scooby Doo and Johnny Quest. Add in a touch of Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys and you get the idea. Apparently there's a whole series of these books starring the young people (Rick & Scotty) in this book and I'll be reading them and reviewing them all in time.

Clean book, safe for kids, enjoyable for adults as long as your not expecting a huge adult themed book with grisly murders.

Rick Brant is the central character in a series of 24 adventure and mystery novels by John Blaine, a pseudonym for authors Harold L. Goodwin (all titles) and Peter J. Harkins (co-author of the first three). The series was published by Grosset & Dunlap between 1947 and 1968, with the previously unpublished title, The Magic Talisman printed in 1990 in a limited edition as the concluding #24.

    Destiny

    This was a very stupid book it was very predictable andst whoever published this book shouldnt have published it sorry but overall the stunk
