Overview

What in the name of Thor could be making this Viking so blue? Eating haggis? Listening to those insufferable bagpipes? Traveling through Scotland with the world's worst poet? Searching for the infuriatingly inept witch who's cursed his face . . . and even more important parts?

For Rurik the Viking, life has not been worth living since he left Maire of the Moors. Oh, it's not that he misses her fiery red tresses or kissome lips. Nay, it's the embarrassing blue zigzag she put on his face after their one wild night of loving. For a fierce warrior who prides himself on his immense height, his expertise in bedsport, and his well-honed muscles, this blue streak is the last straw. In the end, he'll bring the witchling to heel, or die trying. Mayhap, he'll even beg her to wed . . . so long as she can promise he'll no longer be . . .

    so good

Sandra Hill is one of the best writers. She can make you laugh out loud and wipe tears from your eyes. I love her Viking series and highly recommend this and anything with her name on it.

    Rurik Rules!

This is my second favorite book written by Sandra! I love Rurik...I love Maire! What a great couple to put together for spatting, battling, and tupping! Rurik and his men [plus the Scottsish household] had me laughing with all their talk of 'manparts' - the naming of them, lying and shrinking them, speaking poems of them - basically being consumed by them. Then there was the ever loving concern of the newly named orgaz-him deed, Rurik meant to use as a punishment. Men really should know better!! It's a little slow in the beginning - just a little - but stick with it. Soon enough it gets great and you can't put it down till 4am. Wonderful humor, characters, banter and descriptions. I saw, smelled, and invisioned everything told. I'll be reading this book again and again...

    The Best Blue Viking

The Blue Viking is a really good book. It has the classic Sandra Hill humor and romance... a good story line also helps. It takes you back to the Viking times, even though they didn't call themselves 'Vikings'. This book will make you feel happy, sad, and totally interested! 10 Stars to Sandra Hill for *another* great book to read over and over. (Which I did and still do!)

Funniest book I read in years

I have to say the first time I read a Sandra Hill book I cried I was laughing so hard. She keeps it fun but still has all the important parts that make up a good romance.

Romantic, funny, I laughed out loud. First time I have read a Sandra Hill book. Will start looking for more of her books. Can't wait to see what else she has out there.
