Born in Pittsburgh, PA, raised in Southern California, and grew up in West Yellowstone, MT, I now live in Indiana. Always drawn to nature, I write my books with a lot of description, keeping in mind the beauty around us. This is evident with my completed books, with locations in Greece (ancient), Africa, and Mexico.
An ancient Chinese proverb comes to life through a faithful translation by one of our most captivating storytellers.

I really liked this tale. A timetraveling child and lessons on the powers of ruling and its effects. However, this would be best for older children, as the king's fate is a little graphic and may not be appropriate for young readers. Also, the lesson of the king being tied in with the lonliness is very subtle.
