A tale of real life in the street and the education it requires. The review in the streets were the story was lived out gives praise to the significance of this tale of Fort Greene. Well worth reading and relating to the times we are living and the impact of the revolutionary 60's. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. As I read the experiences of young Ed, I can hear the voice of the author as if he is preaching the very existence of his brother. C-Allah has surely taken us back into a forgotten place in time. When our only certainty was who we are as blacks. And what it meant to keep our individuality. A smack of reality....a must read for all who have forgotten and those who haven't been taught. I give this book five stars because of the power in its deliverance. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
