The Bobwhite Quail Book: Classic Upland Tales

Overview

Lamar Underwood takes you on the best quail hunts in our literary history. You’ll see the good dogs, the bad dogs, and the indifferent. You’ll smell the powder, feel the wind, and sense the love and understanding that makes so many hunters so devoted to the bobwhite quail. This is an appreciation of the sport that transcends its parts, giving us a whole of emotion that’s akin to a religion.

    Great group of hunting stories

This is a composite of hunting stories by several of the different authors that lived 40 to 50 years ago, telling tales and yarns of long ago. It is a short cut to buying several different books by each of the respective authors. That saves one a lot of money yet they can get a feeling for each of the different styles of the people that wrote the stories.
