The Body Politic

The year is 1980, and Democrat US Senator Thomas E. Fitzgerald is running for re-election. But in addition to swimming against a strong conservative tide, someone in his campaign is a murderer. The Body Politic describes the inner workings of a hard-fought political battle: casual liaisons, brutal schedules, polling data, simmering hatred--everything that can go right--and terribly wrong.
