    I Also Recommend:

    A must-have for busy cooks

    This is a very comprehensive volume of quick and easy recipes from Bon Appetit magazine. Having been confronted with many new ingredients from my CSA share, I was always able to find recipes for them in this cookbook. Fresh in this case means the ingredients. These are made from scratch recipes and many (if not all) can be made is less than an hour. A great go-to cookbook for those busy evenings.

    LOVE this book so far

    I'm made a handful of recipes from this book, and all of them were delicious! Most of them are perfect for quick, weeknight dinners. I would definitely recommend this book and the 40th Anniversary orange one as well. Great recipes!

    Must Have

    I use this cookbook all of the time. It's practical, easy to follow and the recipes and excellent. Haven't found one yet that I don't like. Doesn't use crazy, hard to find, exotic ingredients.

    I love this cookbook - and we use it several times a week. Even my husband finds it easy - but with GREAT results.

    Not Fast or Easy

    These recipes were diverse and innovative but I returned the book because they would take me more than 30 minutes to make dinner and because I would have to specifically shop for the ingredients.

    These are Not Healthy Recipes

    I read a rec on this in a health magazine, which is why I ordered it. However, the recipes were not low fat or low calorie. A lot of the recipes had butter and other high fat ingredients in them. I returned the book to look for something that is fast, fresh AND healthy.
