An old document/diary or recount of the observations of a missionary wife in Australia in the 19th century of the plight of the native people and her efforts to introduce Christianity to them at the same time her own society is intoducing the disease, licquor and attitudes that are leading to their demise. It does not appear to have been edited at all. There is a small " dictionary" of " language" at the end of the book. There is no providence for the book as far as I can tell it may be entirely fictional. I did enjoy the small stories and anecdotes and it was an interesting exercise to wade through the archaic (perhaps) spelling. It propounds to be from a photocopied hand written document. If you have patience for this kind of thing please leave a review. I'm curious to see others thoughts on this little book. P J KWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
