I remember reading parts of this at Sunday School, and I decided to get a copy now that I am an adult. It is a truly wonderful book for Christians and it brings back many nice memories.

There is enough to read here for a lifetime! I think I will be busy for awhile ... but the prayers are indeed very lovely.

This works well on the Nook, and it was a good purchase. As other reviewers mentioned there is a LOT of content and this is larger than any other book I purchased, so it looks like I will be busy for awhile.

This is a massive book, and it takes some time for the Nook to index it. Afterwards, however, it works extremely well and fast and the table of contents for this massive volume is aboslutely necessary as there is just SO much content.
Highly recommended for all Episcopalians.

This is the COMPLETE version of the Book of Common Prayer (yes that very think red book from church). It works very well, and I like the fact that I can adjust the font on my Nook, which I can'r do in the think version at church.

This is just like what we use at Church but it is the Nook version. It has nice table of contents as well as reference to the page numbers in the hard copy which makes cross referencing quite easy,

Love having access to the prayer book along with the Bible and Commentary I use for class, all in one place. I've used it in the church service a few times and once you get used to how to flip back and forth using the links it's fine. Best thing I did was to bookmark the link that allowed direct access to each page. Having memorized the pages since I was a child, this is the easiest way to move around in the nook version.

The Book of Common Prayer itself is as brilliant as ever. This version, however, not so much. It downloaded fine, and it didn't take very long, but what I got was very disappointing.
As I opened up Morning Prayer, I noticed that only a couple of lines appeared on the page - below them just empty space. So it was for nearly every page - a line or two of text followed by emptiness. To do Morning Prayer alone took countless flips of the "page." I was expecting to see pages look like to hardcopy version with which I am so familiar. This choppy version is nearly useless to me.

I wrote an extremely negative review here a few days ago because it appeared that the Nook software simply could not handle a book this size. The REAL truth is that your Nook needs to be unregistered and reregistered every so often, and that a huge, cross-referenced book like this reveals the problem. I'm still not thrilled that it took several hours to get the book to open, but it does work now.
