Meet the Author

June Poste was born in Baltimore, MD and spent part of her years growing up in a small town in southern Pennsyvania. But for the other part of her early life, her family traveled up and down the East Coast staying on military bases, following her father who served at the time. Those years of traveling and long car rides were filled with reading and this is where she began her love of books. Short stories were written here and there, inspired by the places the family stayed.
She began writing The Book of Gyrd series as a stand alone novel when she was 15, but quickly discovered it could not all be contained in one volume and thus it exploded into a series. Reformation is the first in what she predicts to be a 5 volume series.
Poste is currently a junior in college majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Renaissance & Medieval studies and German.
