Overview

Imagine if you discovered a treasure chest in which were hidden ancient mysteries, revelations from heaven, secrets of the ages, the answers to man’s most enduring, age-old questions, and the hidden keys that can transform your life to joy, success, and blessing…This is The Book of Mysteries.

Jonathan Cahn, who caused a national and international stir with the New York Times best-seller The Harbinger and then The Mystery of the Shemitah, now brings us a treasure chest inside of which are contained some of the greatest mysteries of all time. The reader will discover life-transforming secrets, mind-blowing realities, and heart-changing revelations in such mysteries as the Face in the Waters, the Leper King, the Land of Gezarah, the Secret of the Third Prince, the House of Spirits, the Mystery of the Rains, How to Alter Your Past, the Second Scroll, the Similitude, the Mystery of the Eighth Day, and much more. The Book of Mysteries takes the readers on a journey of divine revelation through ancient Scriptures, the laws of Creation, the deep of God’s Word, the hidden streams of history, the most important keys of spiritual truth, end-time mysteries, and the secrets of life.

The Book of Mysteries opens up with a traveler and his encounter with a man known only as “the teacher.” The teacher takes him an on odyssey through desert mountains, valleys, gardens and plains, encounters with nomadic tent dwellers, caverns and ancient ruins, chambers of scrolls and vessels, and more. The reader is taken along to partake in the journey and in all the teachings and revelations. The traveler keeps a journal in which he writes down each of the mysteries given to him by the teacher in his one-year odyssey—365 different mysteries—one for each day of the year. Thus, on top of everything else, The Book of Mysteries is also a daily devotional unlike any other. And each mystery contains a special mission for each day of the year, a mission that takes the revelation and applies it to reality for a life-changing journey.

*I received a free ARC of this book from NetGalley and Charisma House in exchange of an honest review.* Before reading The Book of Mysteries. I was already a fan. I loved this book and would definitely recommend it to others. This book, much like his previous works, is life changing and faith affirming. It is a book that you can read and also use as a tool for your every day life. It is not only entertaining, but it also has lessons in it to be learned about God and his divine plan for all of us. With most books you read them and then it becomes another addition to your bookshelf. With this book you will be going back to it constantly, researching the mysteries and lessons that are ingeniously woven through out it. Mr. Cain has a passion for God and God's people all the world over. You can tell in all his books that he loves to pick apart the passages of the Bible and feed them to your mind, heart, and soul, in easy to understand pieces that really stick with you and become part of you forever. He does this with such zeal and passion that it becomes very entertaining, and you will find your self pulled into every page, as if you are walking right along with the characters in the book. I personally have learned a lot through his books, including this masterpiece. In my humble opinion this book is a must read

Throughout history, from the beginning of time, God has always sent a Jewish prophet to warn His people. Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is the Jewish prophet that our Eternal Sovereign Father has chosen for our generation. Daniel 12:4 (AMP) states, “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the scroll until the end of time. Many will go back and forth and search anxiously [through the scroll], and knowledge [of the purpose of God as revealed by His prophets] will [greatly] increase.” So when we see a increase of revelation by the power of God’s Holy Spirit and hear prophetic warnings, it is indeed time to sit up and take notice and drink in all that Holy Spirit has for us to hear and devour. Just like Rabbi Cahn’s previous books, the Harbinger and Mystery of the Shemitah, his latest book, The Book of Mysteries, does not fit into any literary category but stands alone as a unique treasure trove of revelation that would have been completely impossible without the divine revelation of God’s Holy Spirit. Rabbi Cahn, himself, will tell you that he did not author the first two books but the Holy Spirit did! And so it is with The Book of Mysteries. Have you ever dreamed that you were walking on a vast sandy beach and every time you turned over a rock, you found a golden treasure chest full of unique wisdom and riches. Well, me neither, but that is exactly what I felt like while reading this extraordinary book. It is difficult to put it down. The Book of Mysteries contains 365 mysteries, one for every day of the year. If you are like me, hungering and thirsting for God’s wisdom, it will be difficult not to continue to read through as quickly as possible but I advise you to stop and ponder and reflect on the wisdom of each page before proceeding forward. Consider every page to contain nuggets of gold given to us by the Author and Creator of the Universe and everything in it. At the bottom of every page is a mission or homework assignment and scriptures to ponder and meditate on. You will be blessed beyond measure and want to purchase additional copies for your friends and family. Of course there will be naysayers, who cannot grasp the wisdom of this book and for them, I pray that God will open the eyes of their understanding, before it is too late. A word about the author, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn: He has had the hand of Almighty God on his life for his entire life. He has truly experienced a life of miracles. He is very humble man plucked out of obscurity for such a time as this. I pray that God will bless him and his family exceedingly abundantly above all he can ask or think, according to Ephesians 3:20. If you want to learn more about his life, check out the DVD entitled, The Harbinger Man. You will indeed be blessed.

The Book of Mysteries Your Rating: Rating Your Review (submitted on September 7, 2016): Have you ever wondered what mysteries were revealed to the Disciples during the three year ministry of Jesus that were not written in the Bible? What secrets did Mary learn as she sat at the feet of Jesus on his visits to her home? What about Nicodemous during his secret night meetings with the Master. What did he learn beside what must I do to be saved? Rabbi Jonathan Cahn's new release, The Book of Mysteries, explores these bibical mysteries scripturally and with a Jewish/Hebrew understanding. The book is written to be used as a 365 Day Devotional and is meant to be studied over the course of a year. I would invite the Holy Spirit to reveal to me what mystery should be my study for that day. The first mystery of the book is titled, "The Beginning", which is quite appropriate. We have been taught that the end is known before the beginning. Is a random meeting in the desert between the Teacher and a potential student just that, a happenstance. The desert, which is a place of desolation, loneliness, and barrenness...is to become a place for truth to be found.. how....isn't that a paradox! Is this the potential student's destiny....willing to give up a year of his life to a complete stranger in search of truth! The Book of Mysteries is not a book to lie dormant on your bookshelf. As you progress through each mystery, your emotions will be challenged at different levels. Don't become frustrated if it takes you more than a year to complete every mystery. There are some mysteries which require more time to grasp its full revelation. The Book of Mysteries is a book that can be read time and time again. Each time you do so, you will gain new insight of the various mysteries. There is a homework assignment at the end of every mystery. The Mission contains scripture and directives for you to complete on how the mystery impacts your life or challenges your thought processes. I wholeheartedly recommend that The Book of Mysteries be found among those in your personal library. You will not be disappointed in its subject matter. The book is well written and easily understood. Rabbi Cahn, you went beyond in bringing this book, The Book of Mysteries, to fruition!! Blessings

Jonathan Cahn has written another NY times bestseller for sure! The Book of Mysteries is a thought provoking daily devotional book that belongs on every bedside table in world. It is truly one of the most intriguing and spellbinding books I have ever read. It’s not your average daily devotional; it’s a devotional on steroids. You get 365 cosmic, radical, inspirational and astounding mysteries to read for every day of the year. Throughout the book you’re taught how the original Hebrew text, when translated, opens up brand new insights into the bible, and uncovers secrets that have been hidden for ages. It’s the true meat and potatoes of God’s word. As you read through the daily mysteries, you begin to realize the magnitude of what is being unlocked in your mind and in your heart. Make sure you have your tissues handy. It’s hard not to get overwhelmed at the significance of what the writer is presenting to you. Thank you Jonathan for you Holy Spirit filled words of wisdom. My life will never be the same. Believer or not, this book is a must read.

Jonathan Cahn's new book, The Book of Mysteries is a very unique book. It has a different mystery for every day for one year or you can read it all at once. But if you read it all at once you are going to want to go back and read it a day at a time, This book has given me insight on things I have always known and been taught, as it goes so much deeper with the study. I love the fact of learning Hebrew words and their meanings. This is a book that everyone that loves the word of God will want in their library.
