The Book Thief: Enhanced Movie Tie-in Edition 3.7 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 112 reviews.

My rating is not for the book itself, but for the Nook type that the book is. Because the nook version has the special "movie tie in", it does not work with all nooks except the Nook HD & Nook HD+. This would've been nice to know before I purchased this book because now I have wasted the money spent on this version because I bought it with a gift card and am unable to be refunded for it. Barnes & Noble needs to specify these things so more people do not suffer this same fate.

With Death as the narrator, It's an interesting twist on the familiar holocaust topic. It is both heartwarming, gutwrenching and funny all at once. The little girl has a voice as well and Rudy is a character you will not soon forget. All in all definitely, worth reading and I'd recommend to everyone, not just teens.

The format was very unusual but you get used to it. The characters are very realistic.

This book should be read by middle and high school students all across this nation. It gives you a total feeling of what people endured during World War II.

Sad, but in a happy sort of way. You know what's going to happen, but you can't help but read on.

Loved that I was able to purchase the e-book in the enhanced version. I had planned to see the movie and having scenes from the movie interspersed through the book was fun. Loved the book and I am glad that the holocaust is being revisited to remind the younger generations of the history that should never be forgotten.

This book is destined to become a classic and will touch the hearts of many for years to come. The writing is truly inspired. I was shocked the author was so young........his writing seems so mature. As a Christian I am commanded to love the Jews and to bear others budens. This book made me weep but also to rejoice.......rare to find in a book of this generation. This is a book for all ages. A 10 star book.
