It is hard to pick the best Connie Dover album, as I love them all. But this cd has some of the best tunes matched to Connie's soulful voice. Except for Sweet Betsy from Pike, which seems out of place in this collection, every song is a winner. These haunting and beautiful melodies cut to the core of my soul, and I never tire of them. I have played this cd over a hundred times (literally) and likely will do so again. If you are not currently a Connie Dover fan, start with this album and you soon will be.
