    Must Read

This is my first review ever (I'm shy). But I enjoyed this so much I've been drawn out of quiet stalk-dom.
I used to be a dancer and did a stint on a cruise ship so it might be because of that, but the characters in this book really came to life for me and I tore through it. The ship dynamic was really well drawn and well, I think I may be in love with Dylan myself. Swoon.
Entangled Publishing sure can pick their debut authors. Looking forward to the next one from de Winton.

I really enjoyed The Boss and Her Billionaire. It was a romance with ups and downs and there were moments that I wasn't sure if we'd have our Happily Ever After. There were moments were I wasn't even sure if I wanted them to be together. I had some issues with Dylan and the way he acted. In the end he pulled his act together but I felt like he should have been made to grovel.

Michaela Western is a cruise director and has been dealing with a snarky captain ever since she ended their affair. An affair which would've never happened had he told her that he was married. Now she's left with his attitude and her work. Her work is her life, even if that means she's lonely.

Dylan Johns is an overworked suit who is not only burdened with running the family company, he has to deal with his brother's family problems as well. His brother mysteriously reappears after being gone a long time and he declares that Dylan should take a three month vacation to enable him to work out the issues between himself and his wife Lily. Lily and her children rely on Dylan because Brian is never there. Although he is skeptical, Dylan agrees to do it. He hopes that Brian has changed and the family will be able to heal.

Michaela has a strict no relationship rule that pertains to the passengers as well as the staff. Staff which now encludes the very tempting Dylan. Dylan really likes what he sees. He sees her as a challenge that he is not going to back down from.

It was hard to put this book down even though I had some issues with Dylan. The story flowed easily and Michele de Winton masterfully wove the plot with enough twists and turns to keep the page turning in full swing. The only complaint that I have is one that I voice with many books. I wanted more of an ending! Don't get me wrong, there was a definite ending but I wish it would have been dragged out a little more.

This was an adult romance with some sizzle so reader be warned!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    A HYPERVENTILATING & ROFLing ROMANCE

Michaela Western is all about her career, but made an itsy bitsy mistake aboard, she slept with the captain. She didn’t know he was married, but when she found out by overhearing, she broke it off, but now she has to suck up all of his “woman shouldn’t have power” nonsense. Now she has a dried up husk for girlie parts, but only 1 more year until she can climb the corporate ladder.

Dylan Johns has helped his mom with the family’s boocoo bucks company since his older brother, Brian, walked out of the company, his wife, Lily, & kids. He always seems to be cleaning up after Brian & even gave up on his dancing career to help raise his kids & be at Lily’s beck & call. Dylan doesn’t mind because he loves his nephews, but Lily is getting to close for his comfort. When Brian pops back into their lives, he tells Dylan that he needs to take a vaca, so that their mom, Lily & the kids will stop going to him. Dylan doesn’t remember want a vaca is, so he decides to follow his old dreams & dance, so he lies his bootie off about his experience & lands a dancing job on The Pacific Empress.

Thus begins Michaela & Dylan tale with instantaneous SNAP, CRACKLE & KABOOM chemistry, but Michaela thinks his is gay, so no problem with looking but not touching. When Dylan saw her for the first time, he knew 2 things, he was gonna slowly button Ms. Uppity & then enjoy what he uncovered, her glorious, tan & lickable body. One night as Dylan is chilling on the deck, she can’t sleep, so she goes on the deck to & they just click & talk about nothing & everything. Michaela gets to watch Dylan become the female CATNIP of the cruise, so she keeps giving him the duties of HADES, so he had no time off. Petty she knew, but it made her feel better!

With a delicious & decadent make out session, Dylan says “your room or mine” & that dumped a cold bucket of water on her head, but her SEXUAL KRAKEN was awake & STALKING. So we have some NEKKIDNESS in the shower, a daring rumba paired with undies drenching kiss, a room booked on a day trip, trouble at home for Dylan, a well-placed slap, a spectacular flying of both of their FREAK FLAGS, rumors galore, Captain Ahole on the hunt, a disappearing Dylan & a great job offer, plus so many twists & turns on land & at sea. Can a sea bound girl get her land bound boy? Is Michaela able to have it all? Will Dylan change back to 24/7 stressed out Dylan? Can I have 5 minutes alone with Captain Ahole in a small windowless room?

This is Book #1 of Mizz Michele’s Love on Deck series & of course I started with Book #3 because I like to be the dizzy me. I grew up with The Love Boat (yes, I am showing my age), so when Mizz Michele dumped me on The Pacific Empress with a cast of kooky ORIGINALS & it felt like Sex & the City meets the High Seas! The one-of-a-kind A+ crew PROPELLED (sorry couldn’t resistant) this tale up a notch with Captain Ahole, “stick up her bootie” Cruise Director Michaela, spectacularly sassy Felicity the purser, George the choreographer who puts the F in flamboyant, “on the prowl” dancing twins & all the yummy male dancer. Plus Mizz Michele STOMPED & BURIED the rumor that all male dancers are gay with her “built for a glorious nights in the sheets” billionaire, Dylan Johns. Mizz Michele gave her heroine warts & all, with her completely UNperfectness! Michaela was so real to me that she leapt off my Kindle & land in my heart. Mizz Michele made Dylan journey more freeing with ripping off his stress & family problems, so he could be just Dylan for once. These 2 crazy kids needed one another to cling to or use a crutch because everyone looks to them for the answers. I love UNperfect, flawed characters & Mizz Michele filled this book with that & added HILARIOUSNESS & amazing KOOKINESS! There were some great almost-reaching-satisfaction moments, but Mizz Michele built up the sexual tension & made Michaela & Dylan stew in their own sexual buildup HADES! I loved how Dylan never wanted to change Michaela or her path, but be herself & shoot for all the stars she wanted. That takes a very strong & smart male to make himself second in a relationship, if he had too & Dylan was. I can’t wait to read Felicity’s story next because she is so flipping SNAUGH worthy! Mizz Michele started this book a little slowing than Book #3, but she needed to line her unique cast of characters. When I read again Michele de Winton, I will grab my reading buddy, Simba, & ousted him from my reading cave because his 10 BLOODY CLAWS multiple times made me need a pint or two. So for a tale of high seas, FREAK FLAGS FLYING, cast of complete ORIGINALS, scorching undies scenes, an uppity heroine, a tempting hero & a love journey through a tsunami (couldn’t resist again), Mizz Michele gets my score of 4 fingers up & 9 toes!

This review sponsored my itsy bitsy wallet!

Business professional Dylan Johns needs to take a break, and he decides to do something unusual, something he’s never done before. Michaela Western, is one of the very few women cruise directors around, and she intends to keep the respect she has earned the hard way. Until she sees Dylan, who makes her rethink a few things, but she has to be careful or she could be fired: on-board romances are frowned upon.

I’ll put is simply: THE BOSS AND HER BILLIONAIRE is excellent! It’s so very well written; Ms. DeWinton’s prose is very expressive, flowing and so easy to read. THE BOSS AND HER BILLIONAIRE really made me want to go on such a cruise: the author describes the ship and the setting – Australia and New Zealand – so well, I felt I was there. I also love how Ms. DeWinton portrays the dance environment and the performers; that was a lot of fun. Dylan and Michaela are both such fabulous characters. Michaela is very confident in her abilities, but she is almost all-business all the time; she cares almost too much about her job and she desperately tries to rein in her passionate nature. Dylan is seductive and charming, but not aggressive; still he decides Michaela will relax even if it kills him. The chemistry between Michaela and Dylan is sizzling and feels very real.

I love the playfulness and the interactions between Dylan and Michaela; Dylan is quite a wonderful hero and steps up when needed. THE BOSS AND HER BILLIONAIRE is a wonderful romance, sexy and yet very realistic as the romance progresses naturally. HE BOSS AND HER BILLIONAIRE is fresh, colourful, fun and very entertaining!
