I was pleasantly surprised with this book. Fliss and Luke's story has it all. It was witty, emotional, comical and of course, sexy. Both characters came with emotional baggage and this story of their relationship shows how they both whittled away at their hangups. Very sweet. 327 pages

Typical romance, not necessarily a reread though. 327 pages. Predictable storyline no surprises.

3.5 STARS!  I knew this was a novella when I purchased it.  Per my Nook only about 95 pages.  I wish when an author writes a novella, they include an epilogue, so you get a glimpse into the future, but no epilogue but also, no cliffhanger.  Everything is wrapped up nicely.  I didn't care for Fliss, seemed childish in her view on life.  There is a bumpy road to HEA, but they do get there.  The sex was passionate, somewhat descriptive.  The last 1/4 of the book had some suspense.  i don't think the book is worth $2.99 though.  If it was $.99 I would recommend it. Good romance story, with a twist. The girl is afraid of commitment, not the guy! I enjoyed the read.

I really enjoyed this book. The story of Fliss and Luke contained some indepth looks at what they carried in their hearts and minds. A nice romance and a great outcome! fl

I enjoyed this novella. After reading another story by Ms Clarke I didn't have real high expectations for this story (the other had been entertaing however also had some major problems). Pleasantly surprised Reckless Runaway at the Racecourse or The Boss's Temporary Secretary as it is also know is a both tight & well written. The characterization was good and established through a variety of ways. The issues presented to the two main characters identifiable and easily understood. Kudos Ms Clarke
