Wow. Definitely a different writing style than I'm used to. It read like poetry, almost Shakespear-like but a bit easier to read. The storyline was just so intriguing & the writing so melodic that I could NOT stop reading.

I read all things Robyn Carr but this is the first Historical Romance of hers that I have read... Loved the characters, loved the plot and as always I enjoyed Ms. Carr's writing style... IMO she is one of the finest writers available today... England in the 1600's was a fascinating period in history... This book is not only a love story but it is a history lesson as well... I think you will enjoy this book...

This was not my favorite by this author. The other books were a better read.

The story is about two people destined to be together and the tapestry that she finds solace in with determination to save the ones she loves.

Typos everywhere. The story wasn't great, but it was entertaining enough for a cheap read.

A predictable read but worthy of a weekend. The typos can lend a little unintended humor.
