400+ pages. This book was extremely hard to read. The writing style was similiar to a high school term paper or a news report. Simplistic sentences of "he went here and did this". Very dry, hatd to read and the storyline just wasn't interesting enough to carry it. The book just stopped. No ending, just done. There was no closure to anything, much less the main characters. I kept waiting for this to get better, the potential was there. At first, I thought it was just a strange writing style and that it was building the background. But no, the whole book was like that. Really, Really hard to finish and I regret the time I wasted reading this. I truly feel less intelligent just from the influence of reading this. I won't be reading anything else by this writer.
