I found this book immensely helpful. In the modern world, it's so easy to forge the 'simple things' that make us humans function at a high level. We're so caught up in TV and junk food that we literally forget to breathe! It sounds crazy, but it's so true. I often have to stop myself (especially during stressful days at work) and remind myself to just BREATHE. Anyway, I found this book very enlightening, without being preachy or annoying, like so many health manuals can be. Anholt has a great, no-nonsense way of explaining the intricacies of using the breath to our advantage. We are so much more powerful than we realize! I found this book to be very empowering, and I'm already noticing fantastic results from the exercises outlined within. This should be on everyone's "must-read" list — talk about a simple way to get healthier! Looking forward to reaping even more benefits in the days to come. Just started a new exercise regimen, so this couldn't have come at a better time.
