A love story so well written you will read it again and again!

A wonderful story of a marriage of convenience. I loved the heroine, Carlotta Ennis with her sassy attitude and strong will. When she accepts the proposal of James Moore, the Earl of Rutledge, she didn't expect anything more than help with Stevie, her son and settling her financial problems. Time plays a trick with her heart and she struggles with her growing love for James while keeping her dark past a secret from him. A beautiful romance full of the Regency pagentry that I've come to enjoy so much and characters that will pull at your heart strings will earn this book a space on your keeper shelf.

Loved this book and this series

In the other books I've not had a positive light for carlotta. But I'd say this book puts her a new light and redeems her. Sweet storyline. Can't wait to read more of this series.

I thought this was the best in the series so far. Although it is

I thought this was the best in the series so far. Although it is a series (The Brides Of Bath) it is written so it can be read as a stand alone novel. It was difficult to put down once into the book. I was very happy to see the author wrote a prologue for this book. The others left me feeling like there was something else to say but the ending for this one was very good. I would highly recommend reading it but be sure to have a box of tissues on hand.
