Overview

Voters can do nothing until they have the facts---the hard, cold, true facts, and that is what Hugh Hewitt provides in THE BRIEF AGAINST OBAMA: The Rise, Fall & Epic Fail of the Hope & Change Presidency. Hugh makes the case that Obama's has been a disastrous presidency, a fiasco in fact, and reveals the president to be a wholly unprepared and incapable-of-learning ideologue whose nearly every move has been wrong, and whose almost every decision has been ill-conceived and poorly executed. But for the SEALs' dispatch of bin Laden and the military's removal of al-Awalki and other terrorists---whom the president still seeks to remove from Gitmo to domestic courts in the United States---Obama would be wholly without anything to claim as an achievement of his time in the Oval Office.

In addition to the monumental failures of Obamacare, the soaring unemployment rate, the 2009 "stimulus" and the massive debt, Hugh Hewitt examines the scores and scores of broken promises and fraudulent forecasts, dozens of dodges and hundreds of disastrous innovations that President Obama has inflicted on America. It has been a reign of incompetency not before seen in the country---ever. According to Hewitt, President Obama is not just a failed president, but the most spectacularly failed president of modern times, and Hewitt's precise and lawyerly indictment is made to help the American people see what has happened, and what desperately needs to be done in the upcoming election.

The path for the American people is clear and urgent: Barack Obama mustn't be allowed to run the country into the ground as the Commander-in-Chief for four more years.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"Hugh Hewitt has done what the mainstream media has left undone. The media has dwelled on Barack Obama's style, his rhetoric, and his claims. Hewitt has concentrated on the facts---and only the facts---of Obama's presidency, set them against his promises, and judged Obama to have failed spectacularly. Obama is the Peter Principle President, in above his head."

---Fred Barnes, executive editor, The Weekly Standard, and Fox News commentator

"THE BRIEF AGAINST OBAMA makes the case for sending Obama back to Chicago, and does so with lawyerly precision and broadcaster passion. Read it. Learn it. Pass it on. And work, every day, to stop the president's assault on our Constitution."

---Mark Levin, bestselling author of Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America

The book will help you form a balanced opinion on every aspect of the Obama administration. It also provides a staggering list of external sources, which further solidifies the narrative and makes it a reference gold mine. The content is very well structured, and reveals some troublesome patterns during the president's first term. By the flow of the supporting arguments, you can tell the author is a legal scholar, with extensive knowledge of the political and legal environment.

The mainstream media makes the case for Obama every single day. Academia and Hollywood, warmly holding hands, are closely behind, cheerfully applauding every step of the president. When someone even dares to suggest that this picture is perhaps a little bit tilted, naturally, the Progressive Trinity is enraged. If you criticize the president, you must be nothing but “just a hateful ignorant blow horn”. How dare you question the established notion that Barack is the smartest president the world has ever seen? After all, who gets the Nobel Peace Prize just for showing up… The Brief Against Obama simply calls the president’s bluffs. Constitutional law professor Hugh Hewitt reviews Obama’s record in 25 chapters. Each chapter starts with a bold quote by the president, which is then followed by analysis of the issue, backed by irrefutable facts. Did I say FACTS? I know, not very convenient if you only care about the utopian intentions of the Left. Indeed, perhaps this book is not for everyone, because the truth sometimes has this annoying habit to get in the way, like a pest.

It is good to have the facts before you vote and this will give you a lot of truthful information. Obama is NOT a leader - he is a blamer. When and if the truth is written about his Presidency, you will probably read of one of the worst President's in your lifetime.

    WORST BOOK I EVER READ!!

I really was open minded and wanted to be educated but oh my gosh was all this made up lies! I looked in to his "facts" about President Obama on just statistics alone that anyone could look up facts from US Economy report alone can see he is just a hateful ignorant blow horn who just wants to bash the president without any real facts beside whats in his head. I guess free speech is even for him.

This book is very biased and it's sole purpose is to trash Obama with fabricated statistics. I don't see the point. If this was an effort to stop the re-election of Obama it was an epic fail. If you can find one fact in this book that is true, I swear I will pay you my next paycheck

    States the case very clearly

Mr Hewitt provides a very detailed case against the policies and beliefs of Mr Obama, using the president's own words.

    The O record is horrible...

...and Mr. Hewitt makes an incredibly compelling case against Pres. Obama. Don't believe the 1 star reviews from biased individuals who probably didn't even buy or read the book!
