    The Brim Reaper was written by Diane Vallere. Although this was the 3rd book in the series, and I have not read the first 2, I didn't have any trouble sorting people out right away. Some series are written so that you have to read them in order, I was glad to find one that wasn't.
    I think that Ms Vallere has found her place in the cozy mystery home. I liked being taken behind the scenes in the retail business.
