Meet the Author

NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR, Ana E Ross, was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Nevis.

During her early teens, Ana began reading romances -- Mills & Boones, Historical, Regencies -- You name it; she's read it. Inspired by the adventures of love between the alpha males and challenging females in the novels she'd read, Ana began writing love poems in high school. When she moved to the U.S., she wrote and sold several short stories over the years.

In January 2013, Ana resigned from teaching English Literature and Writing to 6th, 8th, 9th, and 11th-graders over a period of 13 years. She now crafts and self-publishes romance novels about alpha males who are flawed down to their silky briefs and beautiful, feisty heroines who challenge them within a hair's breadth of insanity.

Her works include three short stories: Her Perfect Valentine Birthday Surprise, The Brit Who Loved Her, and When Amber Got Her Groove Back.

She is currently working on a four-book series entitled Billionaire Brides of Granite Falls which includes:
The Doctor's Secret Bride - Book One - Published May 2012
The Mogul's Reluctant Bride - Book Two - Published May 2013
The Playboy's Fugitive Bride - Book Three - December 2013
The Tycoon's Temporary Bride - Book Four - 2014

Ana recently teamed up with four other authors to create a box set entitled Loving the CEO which has made the NYT and USA Bestselling lists over a period of several weeks. The Mogul's Reluctant Bride is one of the five books in the set.

Ana's motto: Everybody Deserves a Second Chance....
And second chances are what she offers her heroes and heroines.

If you enjoy Harlequin Presents type stories of rich alpha heroes, working heroines, secret babies, marriages of convenience, and lovers' reunions, then you'll enjoy Ana's novels.

    pass

Pass on this book. No good story line. No man is going to walk in after 8 years, kiss her, find out he has a son, ask her to marry him, met the son, tell the son that he is his father, the son be perfectly happy with it and they live happily ever after in a matter of 30 min after the man arrives.

    A short read

Nice story, but each page I turned counted as two, so there are only 77 pages! Im a sucker for happy endings, and this short read will give you that.

    Typical storyline

If you're looking for the stereotypical romance, this is fine. A short, quick lunchtime read.

    Ok

I really wanted to feel more about the characters, but it felt a little crammed. I don't even know what the characters look like and since i just finished the short either it wasn't noted or it wasn't memorable. Strong effort, just something missing.

    A Lake Tale- 1

My name is Megan Windthorpe, l'm 15, homeschooled, have five sisters, one brother, a pet dog named Winnie, and a cat named Rochester. So, this all started when my father decided to take the family down to the lake for a few weeks during the summer vacation. Pretty good idea for him. Now, my father is a kind, gentle man, but a bit absent-minded. True story. So when he announced that he had rented a house by Lake Sunset for the summer, everyone in the living room gave each other a long suffering look. Little did we know, this dreaded vacation would be one we remembered for a long time. "We leave tomorrow," were his next words, and a groan escaped me. "Dad, Joy's party is tomorrow night, and l'm gonna be missing the biggest party this YEAR!" He shrugged. "Sorry honey. But this family needs a vacation with everyone there. You're going." I sighed and went up to my room to start packing. Dad had said we could take Winnie and Rochester with us to the house, so l got the dog and cat crates down. After packing the suitcases into the car, we ate dinner and went to bed. Dad shook me awake the next morning, and l got dressed. Ok, little sidenote here. Since this book isn't about us getting ready to leave, l'm just gonna skip all that till the time we get down to the house. It was a dump. Not that bad, but pretty bad. I folded my arms and looked at dad. "I gave up Joy's party for THIS?!" I practically screamed at him. He smiled sheepishly and unlocked the door. We spent the next half hour unloading, then we went down to the lake. There were about six houses strung along the lakeside. One was a large white mansion, another a smallish black house, one was a old fashioned cottage, another was a normal sized trailer, one was a shack, and the last one was a enourmous mansion. Bigger then the first one by about a foot. My brother, Karl, was lounging on a bench, l was on a chaue watching the others walk around, when a few girls came along the beach. Two were obviously twins: both were slim and pretty, with dark brown hair and grey eyes. The other was a blond girl, with bright blue eyes. They spotted me and Karl and came over. "Hi! I'm Merri," said the blue eyed one. "These are my cousins, Flora and Fawna," she continued. We smiled and said hello, then fell to talking. It turned out that the girls were the same age as me, and we got along great. Karl left after awhile, and the talk turned to boys. "There's this ADORABLE boy in the mansion, " Fawna giggled, and Flora rolled her eyes. "Every girl on the lakeside is all over him." Merri and l grinned. "What's he like?" I asked. "Tall, slim, well muscled, tanned, with dark ash blond hair and baby blue eyes. SO adorable." I grinned again. "He might need some checking into." Flora smiled. "You're as bad as them." Fawna squealed suddenly. "The party! She can come to the party and meet him." <br> "Fawna, that's tonight. She just got here, like she'd wanna go to a party." I laughed. "Oh, l wanna see him. What time?" <br>"Starts at 8:30 PM." <br> "I'll be there." (The next part will be out soon. If you wanna be in this story, post a short, detailed bio at the fifth result, and you may be in it soon! Thanks for reading, and please comment. ~Selena)
