Meet the Author

Linda Hinton Brown was raised in a house where her mother, Betty, regularly baked a collection of pies, cakes, and biscuits—all before church on Sundays. Linda's daughter, Norrinda Brown Hayat, grew up with Linda experimenting with Betty's recipes, reading cookbooks, and tearing out pages from baking magazines. Together, in 2002, they founded the beloved Brown Betty Dessert Boutique.
