Kosho Niwano is the eldest daughter of Rev. Nichiko Niwano, president of Rissho Kosei-kai. As president-designate of the organization, she is dedicating herself to the study and sharing of the teachings of the Lotus Sutra, a most important Mahayana Buddhist scripture, and to inter-religious cooperation.
