Overview

In post apocalyptic Washington State, small communities have survived the holocaust. Fighting off roving gangs of raiding slavers and ever-present starvation, lawlessness is now the norm. It is a place where people work to try and rebuild civilization while under the constant threat of attack.
A young boy flees his town after it is taken over by one such gang that killed his father and enslaved his friends. He stumbles upon a hidden military bunker in the wilderness, whose only resident is a crippled soldier who has been there since the Corporation War. Until the arrival of the boy, he'd been managing as best he could. Now he saw a hope for not only his own future, but the future of this little corner of the world. All wrapped up in a dirty, disheveled little boy. The Colonel takes in the boy and trains him to be a soldier, raising him as his own.
After several years, Stan decides to go and rescue his friends who are still in Moses Lake. He then convinces them to return with him to the bunker, where they can rebuild their society in some measure of security.
On a mission to find supplies for their home, the young adventurers enter a cloning laboratory of the very corporation that was the catalyst for the great war. This triggers an alarm that sets a series of events in motion, leading to a showdown between corporate rule and greed, and the human need for independent self determination.
Thus begins The Bunker saga. A series of books that tells the story of the struggle that mankind could possibly face if we are not careful with our resources and the use of supreme power by those who would enslave us with a robotic iron fist.

Meet the Author

Originally from the Sacramento area of California I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last 23 years. The country is beautiful and very conducive for writing, also, this is where my beautiful wife is from. We have 3 kids, 2 dogs and a cat who owns the neighborhood.
This is my first foray into the field of writing and I feel that it is something that I now have to do on a regular basis. I started this series while I was off work with an injury, and now I'm working hard to finish it. The second book is on the way and should be completed by spring, work and distractions permitting.
Thank you for the opportunity of allowing me to entertain you with these stories. I appreciate your business.
Lastly, I intend to keep the cost of the books at $2.99 to allow those of us on a limited income to enjoy a few hours of escapism from the current economic woes we are all going through.

I read the book in two days, once i started it i had a hard time putting it down. I went to buy the second book and it is not out yet. Hurry the hell up. My only compliant was poor charecter devlopment among some of the bunker inhabitants. I was reading names and i wasent very familiar with who they were. All in all it was worth the time and money and i will be reading the next two books.
