Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

Five young suburbanites drive to spend a vacation together in a decrepit cabin in a remote woods. You think you know the story. You think you know the place. Think again. This novelization of the born to be an April 13th release blockbuster film by Josh Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Drew Goddard (Cloverfield) will take you into a horror that you have never before experienced. A very scary mass market paperback and NOOK Book original.

    Wouldn't watch the movie

I read the book thinking that I would love to see the movie. I would not watch the movie cause I didn't really care for the book. I did not like the ending. I thought that it was going to be a scary read....no! If I knew the book was going to have zombies in it, I would have saved my money.

This was just about one of the best reads I've ever had. If you don't believe me, then pick up a copy yourself. It was made to be a movie novelization not a thing that was made INTO the movie. It was fast paced, exciting, I just wish the ending was different.

    Movie is good

If you havent seen the move i recommend it. But its really only for fans of horror/MONSTER movies. Anyone else that sees it bwill probably hate it. Bt i love aall the monsters in it. But ibreally wanted to see the sexy witches, i also expected the merman to be different. But i still loved it! Id read the book and see the movie if i were you.

    Don't bother!

This was perhaps one of the worst books I have ever read. I only managed to finish reading it because I kept hoping it was going to get better; it didn't.
