This is a great read. It only took me a couple of hours and I was engrossed from the 1st couple of pages. The author makes you think....what would we do if faced with the same situation? One might be surpised at what they are capable of doing.

It's a nice quick read (about 100 pages) that gives us more of the Ackerman we love to hate and leads into Ethan Cross's other incredible book THE SHEPHERD. Fast-paced, well-written, great characters and twists.

I read the entire book the first night I purchased it. I previously read The Shepherd and it was also outstanding. I will be excited to read more books from Ethan.

Be forewarned, this is a very scary story. A killer who shows no remorse or compassion when he puts a bullet into another human being, no matter what age. Are killers like this walking among us. Everyday. I'm sure that the brains of serial killers have been studied by the best minds. What if they find out what makes them killers, then they have to find a cure.

Fast pace, easy read but the book has no ending. The book finishes by leading into his next book. Does the next book give the ending? I just finished it and i'm a bit confused.

I was looking for something new to read and stumbled onto this book. It was brilliantly written.excellent premise of a tortured soul and her one shot at redemption. Dont hesitate in buying this and supporting this new author... it is an intense prequal to the shepard which I am starting at the close of this review. So grab your nook and grip it tight for a white knuckle ride of chaos!!!
