Meet the Author

Ashley's stories have an unexpected twist at the end. They might make you chuckle, or pull at your heart strings, but your reaction is also likely to surprise you. The inspiration for many of Ashley's stories comes from historical events or from travel. Recent travels in Greece and research into a mysterious murder in Australia in 1972 has lead to Ashley's latest book, In Too Deep. As well as following a murder trail through the Greek Isles, Australia and England, it confronts a perennial social issue.

Ashley is a member of the SA Writers' Centre and recently wrote an article for them on Embracing ePublishing which was inspired by his experience with Smashwords.

    What?

Too short..and what happened to John? If his death was done symbolically, I guess I didn't get it.

    Short story.

Interesting story. Too short, I wanted to learn more about the characters. I felt like it was the first chapter of what could be a good book.

    The Caroline

The story idea is great but too short, no middle, no end. This could be the first chapter of a great novel. The author shows promise. But as others have said, not well written. Who died and how ? No real answer. Two stars is the best I can do.

    Boring!

age 10-14 I probably would not seek out other titles by this author, nor would I recommend it for book club discussions.
