Overview

Sibling sleuths Kirstin and Arthur Davis are the successful partners of the Davis Detective Agency. They have an unblemished record of taking down locker thieves and recovering lost puppies.

But now, they are up to their necks in a real case of international mystery . . . where the Autumn Rose is anything but what it seems.

Arthur was just getting ready to get out of the car when he heard a strangled scream! He crouched down behind the front seat and carefully peered out at what was happening. Three large Asian men in jeans and T-shirts and with black gloves on their hands were carrying a struggling man out of the bathroom. His mouth, arms, and legs, were bound with silver duct tape.

His heart racing, Arthur felt for his cell phone. With a sinking feeling, he realized that he had left it at home.

“Finally, a good mystery series for Christians! It's way better than any of the other mysteries I've read—Christian or otherwise.”

—Rebecca, age 13

"Wow! Move over J.K. Rowling! You've got competition!"

—Jessi, age 11

Rick Acker does his best work while traveling. In fact he pecks out pages every day on the commuter train to his “real job” as a San Francisco attorney. He met his wife, Anette, in their college biology lab when he impressed her with his fish expertise . . . and made the best catch of his life. The Ackers have four children.

A mysterious woman living in Vietnam hires sibling sleuths Arthur and Kirstin Davis to investigate Autumn Rose, which they believe is simply the horse farm where Kirstin rides but is really much more.

    Great Mystery that teaches values

This is a great book if you are looking for a fun, quick reading story. It is geared toward young adults, but I think adults will enjoy it too.
