    Mystery Fan

Great book with a surprising twist at the end. Erle Stanley Gardner and Perry Mason stand the test of time and are still wonderful reads 70 years later.

Perry Mason - Rolling them bones

This is another great book by Erle Stanley Gardener. He has a great grasp of weaving a complex story that isn't so complex that the reader has a hard time following. The writing is quite taut; one has a hard time finding a place to put it down. I didn't. I read the entire thing in one very last night sitting. This isn't the TV show. The book was written in the 30's. Still a fun read. Highly recommended.

The book was enjoyable and it is interesting to see the early incarnation of Mason as a more restless and
slightly less serious character.  Some of the text has OCR errors which does interfere with the flow of the book,
and the plot is slightly convoluted.  However, still an enjoyable story.
