    A smart guide with a great sense of humor

    I was intrigued by this "Shmoop" and decided to check out their guide to The Catcher in the Rye (a book that I teach every year to high school students). I'm an instant convert. Shmoop's writing is accessibly, funny, and hip without "dumbing it down."
