I received an e-galley of The Caveman and the Devil for the Reading Addiction blog tour.
This is a very quick read. I think it's only like 80 pages or so. The great thing about it was that I immediately related to both Noah and Paul. Paul's anger, frustration, and fear come off the page from the word go. I was a little concerned about how the story would progress being so short. I shouldn't have worried. No, the plot isn't all that deep. Don't go into this book expecting a heartbreaking story. You won't get it. Instead, you'll find fun-loving characters who are just trying to make it through the day to day turmoil of a relationship. WHICH IS AWESOME!! I absolutely loved the banter between Pail and Noah. And the fact that Noah tries to diffuse Paul's anger with said humor.
I feel like I could go on and on about this short story, but I won't. Suffice it to say, I'm going to pick up the anthology so I can see how these two got their start. Then I'm going to pick up more books from Chris T. Kat. Yeah, this was that good!! So go get it.
