The CEO of the Cockpit: A Fictional Airline Captain Looks at Life

Overview

"Fictional airline captain...?" Fictional, my empenage! This guy, Garrison, is real. I've seen him...well, not up close, but he looked real, and he was real funny. Likewise his book, it's real funny...except the sad parts, which are, well, real sad, but then it's back to funny, again. Fictional airline captains can't do that. So, don't be misled, buy CEO Of The Cockpit and then, you decide: Garrison--Truth or Fiction?

The insights, tips, suggestions, rave-outs and pontifications of a fictional airline captain. Witty and fun, this book is a collection of the famous AVweb.com column by the same name. It also includes a few surprises. Not a piloting manual, but a book every pilot should own.

Great Aviation Humor written with wit and insight

I have been reading Kevin Garrison's column, The CEO of the Cockpit, on Avweb.com for years. His book by the same name has new material and some of my favorite columns from the past.

This would be a great book for any pilot or aviation enthusiast. This is not a "rah-rah" kind of treatment of the airline world in this book but it is written in an engaging and thought-provoking way that makes it a very entertaining read.
