I used this guide and have been relying on its guidelines over the several years since my acute onset. My life is nearly normal now for me because of good management. I think Bruce's book is the must-have must-follow handbook for maximizing my wellness.

This book has been a great asset to me in my continuing recovery from CFS. After several years of being in a sort of 'plateau,' the book, along with the self-help group it is the official textbook for, has enabled me to make further gains in my functioning level and feelings of wellness. Bruce Campbell not only has a great deal of professional expertise, but writes in a manner from which you instantly get the feeling he really knows what you're going through. The book is easy to read but still provides great tools that help a person learn how to help him/herself. This text is not a 'ready fix' or a gaurantee to return to 100% health. However, it provides CFIDS/FMS survivors with ways to gain some control back into their lives. Dedication and commitment to using the tools can only provide a successful outcome, no matter how significant or minor.
