The Change

Set in the not-too-distant future, "The Change" tells the story of what happens years after the world as we know it ended.

In the world of "The Change", the people that remain live in farms and cities behind protective walls designed to keep out the swarms of "Changed," humans who have succumbed to an unknown plague, not quite dead, but neither fully alive.

This is the only world Jesse has known, and after one traumatic night, he has walked it alone. Drunk and downtrodden, having long since given up on a future, Jesse is given a second chance when he meets Julie who asks him to follow her on a journey through the wastelands to find what he has been seeking. Accompanied by his friend Desmond, the trio set off on a dangerous quest.

"The Change" is a story about how faith can affect us and the importance of what we choose to place that faith in. It is a story about how music can make all the difference for a person and how that person can go on to change the world.

Most zombie books are about the end of the world. The Change is about everything that happens long after.
