I'm ordering a copy of this as a gift today. We've enjoyed the story for several years now. If you love animals, then this story can't help but warm your heart: a bear is aroused from hibernation byt the small of potato pancakes -- an elderly woman mistakes the bear for the rabbi, and learns of her mistake after the rabbi knocks on her door! This is one of our favorite authors, and, unlike hershel and the channukah goblins, this won't scare anyone. Perfect for any kid old enough to handle two ro three sentences per page, probably up to age 9 or 10 (or in my case, 40ish).Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
